About AJC Design Engineering ApS

AJC Design Engineering has been started by in 2009 by myself, Andrew Coleman. The office is situated near Odense on the Island of Fyn in Denmark. In 2021 it changed to AJC Design Engineering ApS.

Before starting as a freelance design engineer I have worked for 15 years designing high quality coffee machines for Europe's leading vending manufacturer, where I worked as a mechanical design engineer, project leader and design manager.

Now as a freelance designer, I am pleased to be able to work on a wide variety of different projects and together with many different companies.

During the past few years I have worked on a wide variety of different products including lifting equipment for windmill hubs and blades, transport equipment for windmill blades, steel structures, car park payment terminals, coffee machines, solutions for the vending industry, machines for the fast food industry, service modules for trains & various sheet steel enclosures and cabinets.

The place of work can be at the customers address or my own office depending on the requirements of the project.

The majority of my customers are situated in Denmark in the Fyn, Jylland area. I do however have customers in other countries and this also works quite well due to the wonders of skype.

I have also built up a network of suppliers within the following industries: Sheet steel, plastic moulding, machined parts & various electrical components. I am able to assist with finding suitable suppliers for new products.
